It is that time of the year again and winter is fast approaching. When winter arrives, days become shorter and the weather turns colder, a lot colder. What does this mean to our wardrobes? It means we need to put our summer clothes and shoes to the back of the wardrobe until next year, and bring out our winter woollies and winter shoes.

The most popular and most common type of winter shoes is boots. Why? Boots are great for keeping your legs and feet warm and dry, and so no matter what the weather is like whether it is pouring down with rain, or snowing a blizzard, winter boots will keep your tootsies warm and dry. There are many different styles and variations of boots available today; you can go for ankle boots, Ugg boots, knee length boots, or half length boots. Boots are usually made from leather or plastic depending on the price you pay for them as leather is more expensive than plastic and you can have a choice of black, variations of brown and tan, red and burgundy, grey and white. Basically you have the choice of a pair of boots for every outfit you have in your wardrobe. Now you may be thinking this is great for every day wear or for going to work but what about a night out on the town or going for a romantic meal? Heels and stilettos can still be worn as sometimes we have to suffer a little discomfort for the sake of fashion but there is nothing stopping you from wearing boots with your dresses and skirts, especially knee length boots, you can remain sexy and keep warm.
