Shoes and Sandals

shoes and sandals

Summer is here and the sun is shining as we stow away our heavy knee high boots and winter shoes and dust off last years flip flops, Birkenstocks and Crocs. Even though the leather is nearly new and the heels are barely worn, we need a new pair of shoes! So we reach for the mouse and spend hours online searching our favourite shoe store for this seasons shoes.

So what does a hard working really-need-a-holiday person pack when she goes on holiday? Most suitcases heading for the fun and sun will contain at least one pair of casual sandals, one pair of flip flops and one pair of evening sandals. They are a must in a hot country when closed shoes will make us feel considerably hot and uncomfortable!

Sandals are fabulous to wear and show your feet off to the most! A trip to the pedicurist for a foot make-over and our nearly naked feet look amazing in the latest addition to our sandal wardrobe. Sandals are not a newcomer to the shoe league, they have been worn by ladies and men for centuries. They are one of the oldest types of shoes, and experts say the sandal may have originated as far back as 3000B.C. So we can't all have got it wrong!

Sandals are a great all rounder as a summer ladies shoe. If you buy a pair of stylish sandals they'll last for seasons, especially a pair of Birkenstocks or such. If you want your sandals to be a fashion statement you've always got an excellent choice. You may not be able to wear them for as long as a classic sandal, but we all agree that fashion sandals are a must have in a girl's summer wardrobe.

You can find loads of gorgeous ladies sandals and you can often find one really comfortable, chic pair of summer shoes that won't look out of place for day and evening wear. Opt for a bold red or neutral leather to go with mostly anything in your wardrobe.
